According to the Brazilian Padel Confederation, three new courts are inaugurated every single day across the country. By mid-2025, Brazil had reached 380 clubs and over 1,000 official courts — a four-digit milestone that places the country firmly on the global padel map. With approximately 700,000 amateur players and strong concentration in the South and Southeast regions, demand shows no signs of slowing.

Ronaldo has launched “Galácticos Rackets” — a project with an initial investment of 25 million Brazilian reais (approximately €4 million) to build 100 padel courts and 100 tennis courts across Brazil. The first facilities are expected to open by late 2026, with most launches concentrated in 2027. “Brazil has enormous demand, but insufficient infrastructure,” Ronaldo told Exame. His plan includes premium clubs, a digital booking platform, and social projects transforming unused spaces into accessible courts in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
A Maturing Market
Brazil’s growth is also showing up in professional numbers. The number of athletes registered with national federations increased 42% in one year, and data presented at Premier Padel committee meetings identified Brazil as one of Latin America’s fastest-growing markets in 2025. São Paulo recently hosted the FIP Gold São Paulo 2026 — the first Gold-category tournament ever held in South America, with €50,000 in prize money and live broadcast on ESPN.
A Market Poised for Explosion
With a population of over 200 million, a passionate sports culture, and major investment flowing in, Brazil represents one of the most significant opportunities in the global padel industry.
